Uhd., Dec. 17 Local Fs. following three arrests there and let 8 earn today, believe they have unearthed a gang that has been systematically robbing persons in this state. Arrests were made on information George Webb a patrolman and with rifles went to Shelburn and surrounded the home of Henry Davey. Davey appeared on his mother's porch armed with a shotgun but surrendered at the request of his mother and brother Barney. A reward of $50 had been offered for him by authorities. Stanley Woods an attorney of Shelburn was jailed charged with conspiring to commit a felony and Bedell of Mrs Carmel a clerk in a local clothing store was arrested on a similar charge. Other arrests likely to follow as officials assert proof of an organized gang that has operated for seven months with leaders among those under arrest.
