Mrs Shields superintendent of Reliance Manufacturing Company’s plant calls about 200 workers from the Verte street factory to report Thursday morning. The old East Fourth street building is being dismantled while machinery is moved to the new VanTrees street plant to handle a rush of orders. This return restores work for about 200 employees.
Crawfordsville Ind August 25 a nine year old boy Ralph Ward Strange son of Mr and Mrs Ralph P Strange Indianapolis died Sunday after being crushed under the wheels of a truck used to sprinkle the race track at the Montgomery county fair He slipped under the truck as it passed and the driver unaware of the accident conveyed him to the seat of the truck where a physician was summoned Surviving are theparents and one brother Ralph Jr The child was at the fair with his parents who ran a concession
Mrs. Winton widow of Charles F Winton 76 formerly of Cincinnati died Sunday at 4 o clock at home of Prater 914 N E after a serious illness of several weeks. She had been in failing health for months and funeral services will be held at the Prater home then church with burial in the local cemetery. Family and friends note her husband died in 1918 and that she moved to heimati 28 years ago. Henry R Lietman of the First Presbyterian Church will preach the memorial services.
A Sunday crash on the Louisville division of the Southern Railroad near St Anthony, six miles east of Huntingburg, left six dead including children. Survivors were brought to St Marys hospital Evansville with severe injuries. driver Theodore Heddinger lived about 20 minutes after the crash.
The Committee on Turkey announces they have finalized contracts for annual shoots at Michael's Range. They report use of 50, 50 and 75 ducks with dates November 28 and 20.

Pete Prisco, 24, of Clinton, was instantly killed last night when buckshot shattered the kitchen window at his home. A second shot failed to hit. Police said the motive may involve his liquor racket activities. His body was found by his wife shortly after 2 am. Neighbors heard two shots shortly before.
Howard Wilson of 501 East George Street underwent a minor operation at the local hospital today.
Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Gantz celebrated their fifty first wedding anniversary this weekend. Married Aug. 23, 1879 at the Spencer Methodist Episcopal parsonage, they have since lived in Odon. Daniel became a pharmacist and long served the community. Their daughter Miss Helen Gantz and son Ra Gantz, both of Odon, are among their children.
A man, believed to have suffered ill health, committed suicide by hanging in his home. The incident was attributed to health issues and was reported as a self-inflicted death. Authorities investigated the scene.
Miss Bollie Krempp, daughter of Smut Street, was brought to the county hospital this morning for a major operation. Her condition and details of the procedure are being kept private by the hospital.

Louis Bedwell a township farmer in Brazil Indiana reportedly shot himself in the head and died en route to a hospital today. Friends say he feared disgrace after a failed venture and believe his life ended due to emotional strain.
Joshua Stevens about 70, a Greene county resident near Linton, suffered painful but not serious injuries after a head on collision four miles northeast of Road 57. He was unconscious for about an hour, bruised all over, with no broken bones. Burton, driving near Ettsville, and a Thompson sedan from Edwardsport were unhurt. Dr. Swan of Plainville treated Stevens after the crash. He was later moved to the Burton home.
Indianapolis, Aug. 25 Emer W. Stout, Indianapolis banker and financial advisor to Governor Harry G. Leslie, left for Washington at Secretary Arthur M. Hyde's call. He will present John J. Brown's plan to boost Indiana road funding via federal aid to employ men through road construction, while the state highways commission opposes the plan as costly and outdated.
