Riester Hardware Store Robbed on East Mai Street
Riester Hardware on East Mai street was robbed last night. Clarence Riester reported to local police that about $8 in cash and $25 in merchandise were taken. Entry was gained by jimmying the back door with a crowbar. Clerk Andy Riester found the scene about 6 this morning and alerted authorities. Investigations continued with no arrests at press time. An earlier attempt a year ago frightened thieves away after breaking rear glass.
