First Suffering from heart disease for over a year he had treated in Indianapolis and locally For the past 13 weeks he remained seriously ill Born in Harrison township April 16 1910 he was the son of Charles E and Edie Gerland Jones He lived in Daviess county most of his life later in Washington He attended local high school two years then left that institution He was a member of the First Baptist church and of the Modern Woodmen lodge On October 7 1928 he married Doris Kinniman and they had one child Virginia Rose The widow and child reside with her parents at Hast Sixteenth The grief stricken parents and two brothers Lynn and Edward survive Also Elisa Garland of born is the paternal grandmother Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8 o clock at the First Baptist church with burial in Aikman Creek Cemetery Elwood will have charge The attending physician said death was due to heart disease which had been goitre as he stated
