Valuation to Rise More Than Estimated Across Indiana
Indiana is seeing a larger gain in taxable property from equality orders than expected. Owen A. Boling, secretary of the state tax board, says about 64 million dollars more valuation will result, with 38 million from farm land and 26 million from corporate city and town property. Despite these increases, net valuations will still fall 70 to 75 million from last year.
