Progress was being made today on the Lemon Street sewer project. Yesterday Odin tore up the Maysville meat where the sewer crosses it, enabling completion of the sewer at that point. Excavation work continues with large sections of sewer finished and more paving ahead between West Third Street and the Maysville pavement.

Readjustment of 311 billion war loans is under way as experts plan continued discussions in Washington and London. France and Britain face further talks on Kellogg pact cooperation and disarmament amid a warmer US French rapport.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the El Nora Christian church for John Young aged 81 who died Tuesday morning at 4 o'clock at the home of his daughter near Elnora. Burial was in the old cemetery at Elnora. Surviving are the widow and three children Mrs Wilson Mrs Ed Hovey of Linton and Otis Young of West Linton. Gorman Young of Odon is a brother.

Crohersville Indiana, April 26. Stanley Hammelman, 28, in a violent clash over lost love, killed his father-in-law and daughter and mortally wounded his mother-in-law and estranged wife. He then shot and killed himself. Mary Weddle survived the attack as the attack on her continued. The Weddle family details and local hospital reports are included.

James Buchanan Bailey, 76, a farmer living about three and a half miles east of Newberry in Cass township, Green county, died Tuesday after a three month illness. He was widow Milissa Jate Bailey, married 1878. Survives: Everett A. Bailey of Bloomsfield, Lelia Neff of Newberry, Frank M. Bailey of Linton. a son and daughter died. Funeral Friday at Mt Nebo United Brethren Church with burial in Mt Nebo cemetery.
The Kiwanis Club met in regular session with a Vocational Guidance Committee led program. Members heard one minute talks on what they would do if they woke up without relatives friends home or money. Attendance reached 93 percent with visitors Thomas Price of Louisville and E L Mentzer of Evansville. The club ranked third in district attendance. It was announced the May 4 meeting will head to Evansville for the seventh district event. Shamrock is grown widely in the United States. Jack fruit specimens weighing up to 80 pounds have been observed, making it the largest tropical fruit.
A delegation from the Vincennes Bar Association attended the last rites for Judge James W Ogdon of Washington on Tuesday afternoon. Attendees included Judges Willoughby Coulter Calverley Loe S Hoover, Senator Dennigan, Kes singer, William Hill, Joseph W Kimmell, and A J Padgett.
Funeral services were held this morning for Mrs Anna Smoot at the Veale Creek church. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery.
