Ottawa Attorney General announces no immediate action in the guardianship inquiry into the Dionne quintuplets. Washington High School Alumni officers met with Norman Sampson to plan this year’s banquet on June 10. Committees were chosen and the cost of the banquet was set at 60 cents. Mrs. Dora Tippit widow of John A. Tippit, longtime Wash a residents, died early Easter Sunday from heart trouble. She will be remembered by former Washington friends. Burial was in Crown Hill cemetery, Denver, Colorado, yesterday.
Alonzo Gootee formerly of Washington and Montgomery will be interviewed over Station WIRE on April 26 at 1 15 p m in Indianapolis relating to Good-Turn Day programs. His friends are invited to listen in.

Mrs. Sarah Ann Wallace widow of William L Wallace died Thursday afternoon at 3:10 at the home of Louis Dosch 516 N Bates St in Washington She was born near Epsom in 1851 daughter of Marion Carroll and married to William L Wallace Her funeral will be held at 2 PM Sunday at the Methodist Church with Rev J Murr officiating and burial at Oak Grain cemetery Survived by her brother Richard Perry Carroll of Otaylon Ill and several sisters including Martha Ellen and Mary C Keith The casket will not be opened at the church Readable fragments indicate a local obit with standard burial details.
A musician who recently moved from California to Chicago was arrested for attempting to extort $30,000 from Murray Levine of New Rochelle.
