Vincennes reports Mayor Robert Russell attracting attention for his wedding ceremonies marrying couples in a romantic, unorthodox style. Martin Gluck of Fort Worth and Charles Beamon of Vincennes traveled to Washington on the 40th train seeking the mayor’s ceremony at 8 pm. Witnesses were James McBride and L. F. Corning. Gluck, a Fort Worth railroad station master, plans to wed his bride, daughter of Mrs. Baylis Cloud, and they will depart for Fort Worth on April 16.
