Washington girl in trial case sparks juvenile court complaints

Indianapolis April 1 officers of the Juvenile court complained that the trial of three men charged with contributing to the delinquency of Eunice Rhoades of Washington Indiana was held without notice to the juvenile court or the girl. The case grew from a February incident at a liquor store involving James Dangler Michael Lynch and Joseph Higgins. The sixteen year old girl testified she was given a mixture of raw alcohol and wine and became intoxicated. Lynch took her home and her brother in law later urged her to notify police. Dangler and Lynch pleaded not guilty and were discharged after police testimony about the girl port. Higgins pleaded guilty and fined ten dollars with sentence suspended. The Rhoades girl attended the trial.
