Rare colonial plate collection centers in Mrs Stryker album
A Sunday News feature highlights Mrs. Stryker of Washington now living in New Jersey with a prized trove of antique wares. The collection includes porcelain from China, Italy, France, Germany, England and Canada, with highlight pieces such as two blue State plates depicting the White House and Washington, other Rare plates like the Lafayette landing, Shakespeare and Millenium pieces, plus valuable Birmingham ware and commemoratives. The piece notes the long lineage of the items and their ties to Warred and Hunterdon counties, and mentions other local notices on Odd Fellows meetings and Epworth League activities.
