Pete Walker Dies in Home After Illness

Obituary notes the death of Peter Walker aged 65 at his home on Sunday morning after stomach hemorrhages and complications. Born in Edinburgh, he worked nearly nine years at the Nesdham factory and was highly regarded for his mechanical skill. Fatal accident near Hackettstown halts trains after man struck

A gateman named Amon Wis was killed when train No 8 of the Lackawanna line passed through Hackettstown district. The body lay between tracks for hours as westbound freights and eastbound trains moved by. Coroner Fox and undertaker Cochran handled the scene. Wis leaves a widow and adopted daughter.
