Injury From Accidental Revolver Shot In Harrisburg
An 81-year-old Washington man, Elisha Higgins, narrowly survived a self inflicted family accident when a revolver discharged in his undershirt. The bullet pierced his arm and lodged near his heart but caused only a minor wound. The shot occurred while Mrs. Kinney, grand daughter of Higgins’ son in law, handled the weapon after it was brought to town on a Saturday. Higgins’ recovery is expected in a few weeks. The incident sparked medical attention from Dr. C. B. Smith.
