Indian Student Dies From Overheating After Water Drinking
An eighteen year old Mexican Indian, Charles Passano, living with farmer William Biddle at New Hampton, died after overheating on Thursday. He drank large amounts of spring water and peaches, then suffered cholera morbus and died Saturday. He had been at the Indian Training School at Carlisle, Pa, and after two years there, worked on the Biddle farm to pay his tuition. He planned to marry a local Indian girl and travel to their homeland before returning to farming.
