The census bureau will move into a full block building at Four-and-a-Half Street and Missouri Avenue, using the former War Department aircraft production section. Hundreds of workers are already at work, shipping blanks and equipment as geography, population, and agricultural divisions relocate. An estimated 4,000 workers will be in the building before January 1, with the Joint Congressional Salary Reclassification Commission occupying one wing until completion.
