Foster died at the Portner apartment house Saturday morning. Funeral services were held at Foundry M E Church with Robert M. Moore and Presiding Elder Naylor leading. Representatives from Missionary societies D A R and the National College of Law attended. Pallbearers included J O Bell and T E Sewell. interment at Oak Hill Cemetery will be private at 10 o'clock today.

Washington music lovers packed Luna Park to hear the Galliani Operatic Trio, first in Washington from the Metropolitan Opera Company. Madame Galliani mezzo soprano Signor Benigno tenor and Senor Manuel Garcia baritone offered four demanding solos with high artistry. The Metropolitan Male Quartet of Washington also performed, as the trio announced daily appearances for the rest of the week.

Medal of Honor Men Meet in Winsted Reunion
Dr. Charles F. Rand traveled to Winsted Connecticut for the Medal of Honor Veterans of 1861 65 reunion to be held today and Tuesday. The town prepared to host about twelve hundred veterans though only two men per regiment and four from Connecticut are expected. Rand is noted as the first Union volunteer to receive the Medal of Honor for gallantry at Blacks Ford July 18 1861, and he has endured a gunshot wound through the lung yet remains remarkably active and cheerful.
