Bar Harbor closes the season with the last arts concerts at Arts Building and final Malvern hops and Swimming Club dances. Col John Jacob Astor and son Vincent host daily gatherings at the Swimming Club with dinners, theater outings, and notable guests such as Miss Madeling, Miss Force, Mrs. Vorce, and Mr. Gallatin.
