Brewery seeks injunction over $475 payment dispute
The Washington Brewery Company filed yesterdays proceedings in the District Supreme Court to stop payment of $475 due from Cosgrove to Hugh Cosgrove. The petition claims Cosgrove will transfer a liquor license to Senay and an order for the amount, drawn on Senay, is tied to the purchase price. Senay allegedly refuses to honor the order. A Philadelphia firm sought permission to install bulk peanut vending machines in the city but was told no special permit would be granted outside building line limits, and the machines must fit three to four foot public space regulations.
