Murderous Dancer Slayer Confesses to Dozens of Killings
A Chicago man identified as Harry Spencer, alias Smith and Burke, told Capt. Halpin and detectives he killed at least several women to steal their money. He described luring Mrs Rexroat and shooting her on a railroad track and dumping her body, then touring Wisconsin and Michigan to rob hotels and steal jewelry. Police doubt all crimes he cites but fear he may be the most dangerous killer captured in the city, with a history of parole and multiple murders linked to robberies.
