Market Broad Gains Amid Trade Balance Fears
The Washington Post reports a broad stock market rise driven by big rail and industrial shares despite doubts about domestic trade. Analysts note higher dividends and a shrinking “floating supply” from large blocks, with optimism tempered by tariff fears and the uncertain export outlook. Europe shows improved business activity, especially in France and England, suggesting potential revival in trade.
