Engineering Council Eyes Waste in Clothing Industry

A nationwide survey by the American Engineering Council committee on elimination of waste in the men’s ready-made clothing industry claims daily savings up to 750,000 with reforms including standardization of styles. Output valued at 600,000,000 dollars, with potential 40 to 60 percent efficiency gains. Morris Llewellyn Cooke of Philadelphia prepared the report. Alexander Jenkins, 80, died at Hartmannville with wife and several children surviving.
