Glances Through Lorgnette At Passing Masks and Faces
Augustus Cordier Jr., 23, son of the late factory president, is two days into his first week as a Woodhaven Agateware worker. He rides trains, dons overalls, learns each department, and aims to help manage the business someday. Clarence Mackay returns from Europe with two children aboard the Olympic and plans winter at a leased home, signaling a possible reconciliation with Mrs Mackay. Mrs Blake withdraws her million-dollar alienation suit against Mrs Mackay for the surgeon husband.

Shark swigh tango wins at London semi Bohemian ball
The shark swigh, a new tango form, took first prize at a London semi Bohemian ball for 200 guests hosted by Mr and Mrs Charles Klein. The dance is danced sideways with shark like dipping motions and required free motion tango dresses. Henry Irving and Henry Arthur Jones praised the authors interpretation of the tango, but it seemed a simple minuet beside newer dances.
