Former inspector Snowden Ashford presents the annual district building report showing 14.7 million spent on construction in the year ending June 30 1909 with a marked rise from the prior year and 47600 building permits issued for erection and repair. Fireproofing of schools urged and total building operations cost 6.07 million higher than the previous year.
