Former inspector Snowden Ashford presents the annual district building report showing 14,726,784 spent on construction in the year ended June 30, 1976 with 6,073,482 more spent on fireproofing schools, and 14,726,784 in permits issued for new and repaired buildings compared with 8,721,577 the prior year. The data highlight rapid growth in Washington during the past year.
