Newspaper Subscription Rates by Carrier and Mail

The notice lists various daily and Sunday subscription prices, including rates for 3, 6, and 12 month plans by carrier, mail, and combined options. It states dividends will be paid according to city or mail subscription rates.

Ties To Be Resolved On Enlarged Charts For Prizes

If four charts end tied on total points, tying participants must rework the same chart in an enlarged form. Circles will be drawn across the chart left to right and back to the left column under similar rules as the original. If no ties remain, prizes are awarded after verification of the original series.

General rules for puzzle contest submissions and integrity

Contestants may work together but are considered one entry per prize. All solutions and data must be preserved for verification. Affidavits of individual work may be required and the Puzzle Manager may form a committee to resolve disputes. Collusion or improper influence allows rejection and refund of subscriptions.
