Debate on Sherman Act Amending for Labor Exemption
The final debate of the National Law School Debating Society was held at the university building on Saturday evening last. The affirmative argued the Sherman anti trust law should be amended to exclude labor from its operation. Judges included W Harlin of Missouri, Samuel Gompers of the AFL, and Cleric F Catust. Patrick J Hurley received first honors, with William Clabaugh second. Debaters were Tarbox and Gund3 for the affirmative and Hurley, Campbell, and Wimmer for the negative.
