Weather Outlook Sees Storm From Rockies To Atlantic
Weather Bureau notes a low-pressure system moving from the Rocky Mountains toward the Atlantic Coast with rain from the Caribbean to the Gulf of Mexico. The central valleys and Great Lakes area will see two days of rain, with unsettled conditions continuing in the Atlantic states into the week’s end. Temperatures inland should run above seasonal norms while tropical disturbances near San Domingo may affect the Southeast and Cuba in the next two days. Winds shift along the New England coast and mid Atlantic, with varying gusts along the Florida peninsula and Gulf Coast, and fresh northeast to east winds toward the Grand Banks for ships bound westward.
