Cattle ranged generally steady with steers near earlier 9.75 to 9.26 for top heavies around 3.25, calves mostly 2b lower and stockers strong. Hogs receipts 18,000 with lights steady to lower, bulk 8.40 8.85, pigs to 25 cents higher, sheep 16,000 receipts with yearlings up to 60 cents higher and best California lambs at 13.15. In New York, cattle steady with steers 7.26 9.26, calves 7.00 11.50, sheep and lambs firm with Maryland lambs at 15.00.
