Griggs Lectures End at Church of Our Father
Prof Howard Griggs closed Shakespeare lecture series at Church of Our Father for the Washington Playground Association. He argued The Tempest embodies Shakespeare’s final attitude toward life, linking Prospero’s island farewell to the author’s own London farewell and his faith in virtue, love, and the world.
