Griggs Lectures End at Church of Our Father on The Tempest
Professor Howard Griggs closed his Shakespearean lecture series at the Church of Our Father, asserting Shakespeare’s life united virtue and love. He argued The Tempest mirrors the poet’s final stance toward life, after evolving through youth to a serene acceptance, with Prospero’s renunciation paralleling Shakespeare’s own London departure.
