Miss Ruth Chatterton Special Matinee For Walter Reed Soldiers

Miss Ruth Chatterton stars in The Merrie Month of May at New National Theater this week and has offered a special afternoon performance for wounded and convalescent soldiers from Walter Reed Hospital. Wounded Marines from Quantico will also be her guests as a half holiday is declared at the hospital to allow nurses, reconstruction aides, and officials to attend. Transport arrangements are being made by Lt. Lanham and a large list of volunteers for wheelchairs and escorts from various locations.
