Anti-Betting Bill In District Plans A Bridge Campaign
A reader writes from Washington on March 14 1818 praising a proposed anti betting measure by district commissioners. He describes his wife’s bridge nights and prize games as a distraction and petitions to include anti betting clauses to curb such gatherings. He cites sleepless nights, escalating costs, and requests relief so he and his household can resume normal life. He ends with a plea for consideration and a brief note on a cold in one day рекламой.
