District Court Rules Benefit Not Tied to One Year

A District Court of Appeals ruling clarifies that a grandson may receive income from a $10,000 education fund before one year after the testator's death. The will provided education and support until age 25 with principal later, and the court held the income falls under administration exemptions. The decision reverses the lower court’s stance and confirms the beneficiary’s access to funds for education.
