Court of Appeals reverses in King Webb tax case
The District of Appeals sustains Mrs. King in challenging tax proceedings on property at 715 Market Space. It voids the tax sale and deed due to misnaming the taxpayer and recording irregularities, and finds lessee default excusable amid commercial rivalry with no fraud proven. The decision is to be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.
