Russian Democracy Conference Opposes Bolshevik Rule
A 1921 Paris conference of all Russian democratic forces denounces Bolshevism as anti democratic and rejects foreign recognition of Bolshevik authority. It urges internal unity, warns against foreign treaties with Russia, and calls for peaceful federation with broad regional autonomy under a future Russian constituent assembly. The group praises U.S. support for Russia’s territorial integrity and emphasizes cooperation with foreign democracies only after a legitimate government is established.
