Expression as bodily power in self development lecture
Mrs M Landon Reed lectured Washington audiences on self expression through the body. She argued a rightly poised body expresses noble emotion and that many neglect bodily cultivation. Her talk, citing a "There’s a Song in My Heart" performer, urged care in movement, posture, and dress to improve presence and health. The series continues with March 13 on Walking, a Lost Art.

Sapho at New National Theater Audiences Laud It
Miss Nethersole’s Sapho at the New National Theater drew loyal notices last night. Olga Nethersole and Celaire Ganasta carried the principal roles with fidelity to the author’s vision, while Robert Bolder and Frank Mills supported with varying success. The third act, devoid of comedy, provided the most reader-pleasing scenes as the drama progressed toward its stormy finale.

Labor Crisis Argument Targets Unions and Wages
A public letter argues that labor unions threaten socialism as 200,000 workers face wage cuts and unemployment. It calls for unions to support law and order, resist political manipulation, and urge fair sharing of adversity rather than wage reductions. The piece warns of grave social and economic disruption if unions push unchecked.
