Inventor of Uninflammable Film Process Demonstrated
Berlin March 4 German industry moves to fireproof moving picture films. Gustave Scheff, a Berlin engineer, showed a treatment that renders celluloid uninflammable while preserving normal qualities. A 50 yard film survived prolonged flame with only minor damage. The method surpasses French Pathe processes, aiding Germany against a proposed ban. Copyright 1922 NewWeek Herald.
