Colored pupils receive awards at joint commencements
The annual joint commencements of Normal School No. 2 M Street High School and Armstrong Manual Training School for colored graduates drew about 5,000 to Concordia Hall. Ninety-two graduates received diplomas, nine scholarships were awarded, and the event featured diplomas by Tastics Thomes H. Anderson and speeches by Rev. M. W. Clair and William W. Cox.
