Nine Wives Case Draws Kalamazoo Circuit Court
Seventy year old David Seeley known as William H Smith and other aliases faces a plural marriage charge in Kilamazon County Circuit Court after a history of bigamy and arrests. The Kalamazoo widow Mrs Julia Blanchard accuses him amid a pattern of marriages for money. Local women recount his scheme from Kalamazoo to Dowagiac and St Joseph. He has served time in Jackson prison and remains at large after recent jail terms and pending trial.
