Special to The Washington Post reports Mr and Mrs John Cooper near Knoxville Tennessee lost their four children after noon yesterday three from rattlesnake bites and one from drowning. The four aged from four to eight years old were sent to the barn to hunt eggs. Mrs Cooper washing clothes by the river. When alarm grew at their long absence she found the three dead from snake bites and fainted. She later learned the remaining infant had fallen into the river and drowned.
