Challenge to Rail Labor Board Jurisdiction
Chicago July 24 The railroad labor board heard its jurisdiction challenged in a wages and rules dispute involving Western roads employees. Ninety employee chairmen refused to answer summons and testify and the board adjourned for executive session to decide action. Affidavits from Warren S Stone and others were entered, and contempt charges could follow if jurisdiction is not accepted. Proceedings tomorrow were described as likely to be interesting.
