Russia Refuses Peace At British Order Says Lenine
Moscow wire dispatch says the Soviet government refuses to cease war against Poland at Britain’s request. The note appeals to workers and peasants of Soviet Russia and Ukraine. Premier Lenin Foreign Minister Tchitcherin and Justice Commissioner Kursk sign the message. The British note proposed armistice terms and a frontier agreed last year, with Wrangel not to be touched. Russia accuses Britain and the League of Nations members of backing a robber war against them. Moscow states direct peace talks with Warsaw could yield sooner, better relations if Poland appeals directly.
