Monterey July 1 Gen Car ranza will not recognise the validity of Huerta debts after entering México City and setting up a constitutional government. High constitutionalist officials made the statement denying any US demand to recognise Huerta debts or grant amnesty to political prisoners.
Laredo July 16 Gen. Carranza told a foreign friend he has no ambition for a permanent Mexican presidency and would retire to his home once peace is assured and the reforms he fought for are under way.
Late provisional President and Gen Blanquet expected to reach Puerto Mexico this morning as families seek safety under foreign protection. Huerta moves toward the port tonight in a special train with army guards and naval ships stationed nearby.

They argue past arbitrations saw awards ignored and accuse managers of prolonging negotiations to defeat their demands.
The final state ball of the season at Buckingham Palace featured a brilliant display of jewels and gowns. Among American attendees were the Duchess of Roxburghe in white charmeuse and Lady Naylor Leyland in white gold trocade with black silk tulle and a diamente sash.

Richmond July 16 Mrs Willam Waldorf Astor of London formerly Mrs Robert G Shaw of Boston and Miss Nannie Langhorne of Mira tor Albemarle Va has bought land adjoining her sister Mrs Reginald Brooks estate in Albemarle. She plans to build a home on the property officials say.
Paris July 16. At the Maison Lafitte races this afternoon H B Duryea May flower with Maccges up won the Prix Kasbah of $1.00 while W K Vanderbilt Sverglades with O Neill up finished a head back. Vanderbilt Standby with O Neill up won the $1.20 Prix St Lucien. A special Atlantic City and Return train leaves Union Station 6 40 a m Sunday July 1 9 Pennsylvania Railroad for a long day at the shore.

Prince Louis of Bourbon, cousin of King Alfonso, married London girl Beatrice Harrington today in a London ceremony. The marriage certificate lists Louis Alfonso De'Bourbon de Beraldo de Quie ms, Duke of Anscla, 27, and Beatrice Harrington of Seaford Court, Great Portland Street, 23. The couple met at Folkestyne a little over a year ago. Extra trains announced for Spanish War Veterans and Odd Fellows at Chesapeake Beach.
