Preparations for Half and Half Case Brief For Congress
The executive committee of the joint citizens' committee on fiscal relations between the United States and District of Columbia worked to complete a concise brief for the joint select committee of Congress by August 1. The brief will review the district’s capital history and will be shown publicly on September 15. The committee, aided by John Joy Edson and Thomas Bradley, plans to present detailed facts in September with data from the assessor and Census Bureau comparisons. Real estate exchanges cooperate in gathering data, and contributions to the fund continue arriving.
