Prominent Scientist Joins Navy Reserve as Tech Expert

Albert A. Michelson, Nobel laureate and Naval Academy graduate, has accepted a lieutenant commander commission in the naval reserve. He will serve as consulting technician in the bureau of ordnance, advising on design and production of ordnance materials. Michelson previously resigned from the service after attaining the rank of master.
