Special to The Washington CBS Philadelphia July Shr sitene Scheel 17 of Washington DC arrested today by Detectives Tucker and nin in the Salvation Army Judging House at Broad and Lombard streets on charge of stealing jewelry valued at 500 dollars from 2906 Pennsylvania Avenue Washington. The detective said Scheel was employed by Fischer and that the theft occurred during a June date. He found in Scheel pockets a pair of expensive mounted opera glasses and other items. Detectives traced the theft to sale of the jewels in Baltimore pawnshops and sent the evidence to the police here. Scheel said to have limited travel recently has been in the country about six months. Further details show Scheel was brought to City yet on the way to Philadelphia.
