President's Guard Fined in Assault Case

J B Stoan Jr chief of the President's Secret Service pleaded guilty to assault in the third degree and was fined ten dollars. Clarence LeGéndre a New York photographer accused him after taking a picture at the President’s arrival in Center Bay last week. The trial before Squire Franklin ended in the plea and a civil action for damages may follow in Superior Court.
