Year at Georgetown: tracking football and track decline
Georgetown faces a lean fall after a mixed athletic year. The football squad, under graduate coaching, lost key players Duffey and Reilly will be unavailable, while the track team highlighted by Edmonston and Duffey showed initial promise before setbacks. Baseball saw Cromley’s suspension and later reinstatement as pitching duties frayed the rotation. The rowing season disappointed with losses at Annapolis and Poughkeepsie, prompting calls for broader participation and dual meets to rebuild strength.
