Holt Career Mystery Deepens as Wife Speaks Out
Dallas July 5 The career of Frank Holt before college in Fort Worth in 1908 remains a mystery to his wife and family. Mrs Holt says she knows little of his life prior to meeting her in Fort Worth in 1908 and married him two years later. Her father Rev C F Sensabaugh notes Holt came from Mexico in 1908, moved near Brownville, Texas, then to Chicago before stopping in Fort Worth to enter college. Holt later became a professor of languages at Polytechnic College. Sensabaugh says Holt had no recommendations and rose on his student record. Mrs Holt could not recall birth place or names of any relatives or associates. Holt’s arrest for shooting J P Morgan is mentioned but details are scarce. Sensabaugh keeps the daughter secluded, fearing media coverage may cause harm.
