Wreck Probe Details Takoma Park Signals and Blame
Testimony at the inter state Commerce Commission reveals conflicting accounts of signals at Takoma Park and Silver Spring, with engineers and operators disputing whether red and double green signals were shown. The Terra Cotta disaster prompted questions on block system duties, speed, and whether warnings were issued in time to prevent the collision between No. 66 and an empty train.

Catarrh Description And Causes In Historical Text
A brief description explains catarrh as a debilitation affecting nose throat stomach and bowels. It notes the discharge from mucous membranes results from inflammation caused by a purported immature or abnormal condition of the blood. The passage presents medical reasoning typical of old health writer perspectives.
