The society page reports a graceful wedding at 730 pm when Miss Mary Rosalie Clark wed Mr. Robert Lewis Graveley of New Orleans. Rev. Samuel H. Greene officiated before a guest list of relatives and intimate friends. Palm and American Beauty rose decor complemented photos, with five bridesmaids and a maid of honor among the bridal party.
The Cortina ceremony featured bridesmaids in white crepe gowns with lace stoles designed by the bride, a water color artist and Corcoran pupil. Miss Halgabeth Clark, a schoolgirl, wore satin crepe while Miss Dorothy Clark wore white spangled tulle. The ceremony included ushers Oscar R. Houston and William B. Springer with Miss Bailey entering to Lohengrin. A late reception featured a large guest list and a lengthy honeymoon planned through New Orleans and Pittsburgh, with many gifts and attendees noted from prominent families.
